Hey guys,

I have finished a site for a client which hasnt been in touch with me in ages although she did say at the time she really wanted it done... and fast.

Anyway, its uploaded to my client holding page. Ive sent her on a letter and invoiced/billed her - while also sending an email asking if she could send on her domain FTP address and password.

She hasnt replied at all - Ive sent all the above about 3 weeks ago - also I havent heard from her in 3-4 months!

What would you do? She aint getting away with this :p

Ring her and put her under pressure? Send another invoice/bill? Send another email?

Thanks.

PS - Web design is THE WORST job for getting paid for, it usually takes months for the client to cough up the money!:p :p

I doubt it's web design that is to blame. It sounds more like you need to tighten up your business practises.
