Wearing Glasses

Just wanna know from you Don Juans out there if wearing glasses make you less appealing to women.

To me, since I wear glasses, I find that people see you as being the uber smart kid or a nerd. I've experienced this throughout highschool and college. In highschool people would constantly come up to me and ask me to help them with their homework when I really have no clue what I'm doing and in college during group discussions or projects people always vote me as the leader. When people look at me, they see me as the hard working book worm, which is totally not the case.

Just wondering if it has the same effect on women. I mean, does wearing glasses really scream out "nerd! nerd!" when women see you?

I have considered getting contacts for some time now, the reason why i haven't gotten before is because I hate putting things in my eye. I don't know, just a thing I have against contacts.

I belive glasses do have a effect on what peopel think about you. I wear sunglasses inside night clubs and I always get haters walking up to me saying "Her Usher".

It's kind of the same thing.

It really depends on what kind of glasses you have. There are a lot of stylized prescription glasses you can get nowadays, that, believe it or not, a TON of women are into. Check out your local glasses shop and see if you can find something that may fit your personality. Strike up a convo with an attractive female who works there (there usually is), get her opinion on which one she finds stylish.

And it's not really the glasses that scream out, "nerd, nerd". It's the total package. If you're an aspiring DJ, that shouldn't be a worry. Read up on attitude and confidence building... play the game on YOUR terms.

Come to think about it, I find chicks who wear glasses EXTREMELY sexy. It's just a uniquely different thing about them that makes them stand out. That's just IMO, but I'm sure every guy has their own 'fetishes'. Well, lucky you buddy, women have them too. And there are women out there who would rather see you wearing those prescription glasses than not wearing them. Consider that, and keep building!!!

Ya bro, I find that HB's that wear glasses are extremely hot too.

Even though my glasses are not super thick, with huge frames that maginfy my eyes to the point that I look like a frog they are getting pretty old. I've had them for about 4 years now, maybe it's time for a change.

Yup, I wear glasses, and chick constantly tell me that I look better without them.
In the same time coleagues constantly tell me taht they make me look more professional.
All things considered, I'd rather get a raise while finding other ways to attract chicks.

This girl I'm seeing really likes when I wear glasses and tells me all the time I look better, and I should wear them although I wear contacts 70% of the time and I personally think I look bettter with contacts.

I have both glasses and color contacts. I get equal attention when I wear either but women are more comfortable around me when I wear glasses. You see when I wear my contacts the see me as a player, but when I wear my glasses I am just a man...and it helps me personally to get with. So I say glasses can be useful and if you are truly comfortable with yourself it does not matter.

Be Stylish

It s all about the style of glasses. Im not richbyany means but i realize how important my appearance is so Ive invested in 1 pair of Prada glasses and pairof Versaci sun shades (about 350-400 each with perscription). Omg you wouldnt believe how females respond to these glasses they LOVE it and they speak volumes about you. The attention and compliments i get is well worth the investments. The women I like (beautiful stylish intelligent) especially respond my taste in eyeware. What can I say females recognize quality when they see it. They MUST BE Authentic because they quickly detect knock-offs, most women know fashion.

It has nothing to do with the physical consequences of wearing glasses at all. On the other hand there are two issues that may contribute to your attractiveness.

1. Routine - Do you wear glasses most of the time or do you wear contacts, or none at all? Most women will usually take the norm and set it as a standard. Anything you do that's out of the norm (wear glasses one day when you normally wear contacts, or lose the glasses for a day after consistent daily wear) is usually seen as "looking better". In fact, you don't look any "better" when you do something out of the normal routine. It's just an indirect form of peacocking that women are much more comfortable touching on as a conversational thread. It becomes a "piece of flair" because it is out of the ordinary, and women will mention it if they notice. What they are actually saying won't actually matter, they are simply trying to talk to you.

2. Confidence - I've seen plenty of men use glasses as the scapegoat for all their problems. Because they think glasses are some sort of handicap and they buy into the nerd/geek stereotype, it reduces their confidence when they have to wear lenses. This is just a game of perception. Seeing a successful businessman wear glasses while he is confidently strolling down the street differs greatly that some normal kid who is sulking around wearing those exact same frames. It is only a disadvantage if you allow it to be.
