Weak immune system

Once again, i catched the flu. Happens quite often to me, really annoying... What would you recommend to strengthen the immune system. I work out 3 times a week, go jogging once, take multivitamin and eat some fruit. What else?

Take the vitaman, Coral Calcium Mag, Multivitiman C & E, and most of all, Echinacea.

ThreeStorms, what is good is if you take the vitiman right when you start to have the stuffy nose or other symtoms. Echinacea will help stop the flu.

Allow plenty of sleep..does the body wonders. Also, instead of focusing on eating one particular group of foods, try to incorporate a balanced diet of meat, grains, fruits, veggies, legumes, fats, etc.

If you catch the flu you certainly don't want to go out and jog. Instead keep the activity to a minimum if you can just rest as much as possible..........I take fish oil everday and it's probably my favorite supplements cus it does so much, including build up the immune system.

When you have the flu, half the time you dont want to eat either. Drink water. Ice cold lemon water. It works.

Sounds like you got everything you'll need vitamin wise. Like he said keep activity low and make sure to keep up your electrolytes (magnesium, potassium, calcium, sodium...). If you've been throwing up, acidic drinks (lemon water) will be tough on the throat but will help fight off bateria in that area. A damp towel on the forehead will help for a fever. It sucks being sick, good luck.

Thank you guys! I slept over most of yesterday and today I feel much better. So it wasn't serious at all this time. Phew. I'll try the Echinacea to beat those little bastards next time before they get a chance.

sleep, strong diet rich in antioxidants and colostrum tablets, although rather pricey, can help alot
