how about we form a paypal account and post it....then i think it would be more easier for people to send money.....i think for each of use 5 dollars should be no problem...we owe that guy a lot more...the knowledge he gave us is worth a lot more!!!

Actually, most of us have our own individual PayPal account. If Bungo has one of his own, then it would be easy to send him the $$ electronically. I get to save postage this way.

I thought of this too, however I was unsure if people would have the trust that Bungo would be getting all the donations.

Also not everyone has a credit card or paypal accounts.


You are right we do owe Bungo. He like many people here, is a great man. I'm actually quite suprised that the Save Bungo thread isn't getting the response I'd hoped for. Over 1500 views and only 69 responses. I guess people are lazy or just don't care.
At times, I feel like this forum is like a popularity contest or something. I'm sure if some of the Forum's "Master DJ's" were to get involved then we would have legions of people wanting to help.

I don't understand what Bungo's dilemma is supposed to be. Why does he have to get married RIGHT NOW if he can't afford it? What is the role of his future-wife's family in all of this? From the way this thread started, I thought Bungo had been disagnosed with cancer or something. Getting in a row with your dad is traumatic, but that's life.

I'm sorry, but most people aren't going to send money to someone they have never met, especially when they don't even know what the money is going towards (the wedding? a house? a ring? what?).

I understand that not too many DJ's around here have gotten married yet. LOL. And especially ones like Bungo who are a big part of this forum.

No Bungo's problem isn't huge but thats not the point. We form a community on this forum do we not? This is a wedding gift from our fellow DJ's.

As far as the money. I'm sure $1.00 isn't going to put you out. If you want to send him a card or something else fine.

Have a heart. There's nothing wrong with doing something NICE you JERK.

LOL Sure, I got no problem with a wedding present. It's just that from the posts, it wasn't very clear what the money was going towards.
