Alright so I walking in the hallway and this hot girl turns the corner and starts walking toward me. We kept really long eye contact and near the end I looked away and when I looked back she was still looking, but then she did something kind of wierd. As she was looking at me she put one of her fingers underneath her eye and pulled the skin down. Her keeping eye contact this long was a good sign right? I didn't smile and she didn't smile, her face was kind of neutral.

I think the question you should be asking is "Why didn't I say Hi and introduce myself and got the number?" That my friend is the question you need to be asking yourself.

By the way is all this hype about eye-contact right? I mean, I receive double or triple eye contacts from girl many times a day... should I introduce myself to all of them? I fear I may seem a stalker behaving this way.

Well if there is a fugly chick do you stare at her? Well nevermind that, I've seen some girls so incredibly ugly that I couldn't stop staring at them. Let's hope you aren't a guy like that. But anyways when I see a 5-3 girl I don't give her a second glance. If shes looking then do something. If a girl makes EC with me I usually make a face at her and she laughs. BAM! Ice is broken. I can talk to her now. Maybe that isn't your style but just sit down and brainstorm a list of things to do when you make EC with a chick.

I was doing the exercise in the DJB that says to make eye contact with as many strangers as possible.

But assuming that I had said hi, how would I continue from there? It was in school and we were walking in opposite directions.

What are you a robot?? If a situation arouse where you can do more then do more. Improvise a bit and see where it is going to take you. If you fail at least you learned something. Because you didn't do anything you have learned nothing.
