Does anyone have any resources (websites, etc) for keeping up to date with the latest styles for mature guys? I'm 51 and I have my life together, so I want to come off as such, distinguished and successful BUT also be able to dress casually for whatever situations dictate it. A lot of the fashion pages seem to be pretty metrosexual or geared towards much younger men. I want to give off the traditional, strong male presence vibe in my photos. I'm getting interest currently from women on OLD anywhere from 25-mid 40s, and would like to keep it from mid-20s to 40 or so. I am told that I look much younger, I have a full head of hair, I'm pretty fit overall even when I don't hit the gym as much as I should. I whip myself back into shape pretty easily.

I have a couple outfits that I will wear now on dates, and those few combinations aren't bad IMO, but it seems like I'm struggling to put something decent together out of the clothing I have. I'm thinking a website where I can see those combinations so that I can add true style to my wardrobe would be a great help to me.

I read Richard Cooper's "Unplugged Alpha" and I agree with him that it would probably further help my OLD results to have professional photoshoots done, but I need the right clothes for that as well. I'm in a very rural area currently... if I go out at all, it's generally by myself, and the people around aren't exactly the most photogenic. I figure paying a bit to have a good photoshoot when I'm on one of my vacations (in a more attractive city LOL) would be well worth it. There's never any cameras out when I am out and about, and I don't often find myself in a situation that would scream "look at me" in an OLD profile, unfortunately.

I don't have a problem going out for the night, or traveling/vacationing by myself, but that never results in any photos of me except selfies, obviously.

A quick search of the site yielded this guys post, it’s pretty thorough:

P.S. learn how to use search, you’ll like it!

That's a great overall resource, I'm on point with a lot of that general info (the fitted blazer still needs to be done). I guess what I'm really getting at... as an older guy, are fashion tips like those for all ages? I don't want to dress like an average 50 year old, but I also don't want to look like a guy who is trying too hard to look younger. I do look pretty young for my age (I'd guess I look lower 40s), but I also don't want to look like I'm "trying too hard" (cue Steve Buscemi, "How do you do, fellow kids" meme).

I try to keep up with recent fashion trends, but when you search for that you end up mostly seeing examples of $250 undershirts and $1500 blazers LOL.
