Im going to Greece also.. haha.
Well I am 5,11 170 pounds.
Do you go to the gym at all?
I go with a buddy and jump on the decline, grab a 5 pound ball and make my partner throw it at me while I go down on the bench and then I immediately raise myself by crunching abs. Don't let you back hit the bench you need to feel the resistance on your stomach. I would also recommend some CARDIO to lose some of that belly.

Well if you follow super gigalos advice it maybe be possible, but very unhealthy.

You will end up losing alot of muscle in the process.

Dont make it your goal for 6 weeks. train for the future. train for the rest of your life, not just your vacation coming up. for real.

Sorry GIG, your advice will not get him a six pack in 6 weeks.

If you do everything perfect, which you will not be able to do (yes, i will assume this, becuase almost everyone fails at first).. it will take you 16 weeks to be able to see your abs. 16 weeks, not 6.

Better start sucking in that gut right now...

I'm 15%, i have lost about 3% in last 6 weeks, how could you lose about 15% in six weeks? With the way i'm going i should have one by summer, so i got almost another 6 months to go. I'm going to be so good by then. :D

First off... abs are made in the kitchen, not the gym...

Secondly, no you definitely wont have a 6-pack in six weeks, but you could drastically lower your bodyfat if you do some proper dieting. I'd say if you consistenly worked at it, it'll probably take 3-5 months (and that means following your diet to a T.)

Third, don't workout just to look good for a vacation, work out to look good for the rest of your life!

Super advice.

You won't get a sixpack at your current bodyfat my friend, if it was so easy we'd all diet for six weeks before the summer and walk around shredded June, July and August.

In fact, to avoid disappointment I'd say don't bank on any drastic changes at all - slow and steady is the key. (some people might have superb genetics that gets them ripped in ten days, for others it might take ten years - both extremely unlikely scenarios but I'm just trying to say how much you can lose is individual, depends on your body).

Don't dabble in numbers and percentages, look to the mirror.

Make changes to your diet (the key to a sixpack as posted previously), incorporate a good cardio/weights routine and be patient - you'll see results.

dude i am 17, with no job and little money, im gona buy a car in 6 months or so, i want a lamborghini do you think i will have the money buy then if i can find a job?

well thats about as realistic as what you are asking. Lose some weight, then you can start thinking about a six pack.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Most likely it is not impossible. But you sure can lose some bodyfat. I reccomend doing cardio 6 days a week for about an hour. Do an intense ab workout 3 times a week as well and you should be pretty satisfied with youu results after six weeks.

doing more than 20 minutes of cardio 3 or 4 days a week is not only a waste, but its bad for you. You can only burn so much fat, then you begin burning muscle. Dont just jog 20 minutes 4 days a week, do wind spprints. jog for 2 minutes for a warmup, then sprint at about 80% for about 20 seconds and then jog for 10, repeat for 16 minutes, then jog for 2 minutes for a cool down phase. You probably wont make it the full 20 to start, so you could break it down to 2-8-2 to start.

Go to target, buy 6-second abs for $50, and use it! 5 days a week. Ive been criticized here be4 for this suggestion but honestly, I could care less if you use it or not. This is for you not me. I was in the same boat as you and I have a very good 6-pack and I have never spent $50 more wisely in my life. Im sure you probably wont take this advice, but if you do I guarantee you will not be disappointed

If you want a crackhead 6pack (one that all skinny people have and that's a-dime-a-dozen and unimpressive), then do cardio 6 days a week, and crunches every 2nd day. Eventually you'll burn that fat and your 6 pack will show, but you'll have no muscle mass otherwise.

If you want a good 6-pack, like the one underwear models have and women go crazy for, it will take you at least a year.

24% bodyfat equals about 50+ pounds of bodyfat. So could you lose enough bodyfat to get a 6 pack?? I doubt it. Bodyfat is hard to lose (especially around the stomach area) and usually takes months instead of weeks to get the results you want.

Sure you can do cardio, but for hours every day?? You'll come out scrawny in the end, if you don't overtrain first. Creating a calorie deficit is your best bet in cutting bodyfat. At the very least, you should have a 1500 calorie diet and consume a gallon of water daily. Diet pops are also good to have with meals. Also be sure to take a multivitamin whenever you restrict your calories and eating during this process.

Ab exercises are good, but they are not necessary as they will firm up your abs, but will do absolutely nothing for eliminating the fat. There's no such thing as spot reduction.

If you want to do more reading in this subject, pick up a book titled, A Flat Stomach ASAP by Ellington Darden.

You are current at 24 % bf, to have a pretty good 6-pack showing you need to be 12% or less.

The max you should lose a week is 0.5 - 1% bf.

So your talking 12-24 weeks of cardio and low fat foods. :)
