Yes you can drink lots of water when you workout, it's actually beneficial if you do.

10 minutes is all you need to get a good meal inbetween classes. A few suggestions:

-Tuna sandwiches: mix some tuna out of a can with some mustard and non-fat mayo and spread it on some whole wheat bread.

- chicken: if you're really serious about getting in your protein, cook some chicken breasts and take them to school with you in some tupperware. You can also cook some veggies to go along with the chicken to make the meal complete. People might give a you a few looks, but I usually end up laughing at them as they eat their snickers and sip their cola.

- cashews: a great snack for inbetween meals. Very good for your essential fats and extra protein.

Hope these tips will help...

is it ok to take a mint or something if im eating tuna? ive heard of some stuff being too acidic and ruining protein lol.

one idea i got is to cuit the sandwhich into smaller pieces.

the problem with chicken breast is id have to put it in small sandwhich pieces or it wouldnt work, ill have to eat it with 1 hand since ill be carrying the lunch bag in the other WHILE walking around campus.

The mint is fine, don't believe everything people tell you. If the acid is such a problem for protein, then nothing would endure the acids in your stomach.

Sure it is good if you slice the chicken and put it on some bread pieces, add some bbq sauce and you've got one hell of a tasty sandwich. Or just put the pieces of chicken in the bag and eat it as you would a bag of chips.

But come on, it's not that hard to get something in your system while you're walking...

Amen. I would live off of BBQ sandwiches if I could :D

It's fine to drink water. Eating solids might upset your stomach if you eat them while working out. Drinking a shake is fine while workout out too, and is a must if you work out over an hour.

And however mentioned cashews, they are great. Keep a bag on you when you get hungry :) It's what I do in class.
