I just started volunteering with one of the county park systems in my state. I am not doing it to meet women per se, but it sure is an added bonus. I am doing it to expand my comfort zone and meet some new people.
Today, they hosted a half marathon and they needed volunteers to help with shirts, refreshment and medals. It was fun to get out there and do something different. They have a lot of other volunteer opportunities as well. However, I noticed most volunteers are either high school kids needing credit or older women who are retired. Some of the female park employees are attractive though.
