Voice and Chatting?

Some of my friends at the school i go to, said that I talk too much and I sound gay. What can i do about this? Also, how can I have an aura of calmness and cool?

Please answer both questions.

I had a relatively unpleasant and nasal voice my whole life until a year and a half ago. When I found this site and assessed my weaknesses, and focused on voice tonality, etc.

I used a tape recorder and learned to use my voice box properly. A lot of people with "gay" voices don't use their full voice box because their chest/abdomen is tight.

Use a voice recorder and do your best. Learn to accept yourself is very important, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't make an effort to put your best foot forward, it just means you have to acknowledge that you are doing your best.

Aparantly I change my voice around people I'm not comfortable with... I don't even notice. wtf
