trying to figure out how to be geniunely interested in a person however we cant answer for you. if you are attracted to someone based on looks, then take the risk in getting to know their personality. at some point you realize if this person shares common interests, enjoy their company, etc.

For me having a great interaction is way better than the sex. So sex isn't even on my radar most of the time.

But when I see chicks I'm actually seeing if she meets my standards so it's like...

- Is she any fun...lets go open and find out
- Is she highly sexual
- Does she like food
- Does she like traveling
- Is she the outdoor type
- Is she playful

It's the emotional attachment part that sucks! You think everything is great, then BAM wake up to reality.

Even the "good" emotional attachment beginning sucks. You lose your focus and whatever you were working on or having fun doing starts to slack.

Damn straight. As I was reading the responses to this now messed up thread, it was sickening. Obviously, alot of the responses were pretty much aimed to NOT get oneitis hence all the stuff about how emotional attachment sucks. Emotional attachment only sucks when YOU'RE the only one emotionally attached aka ONEITIS. Now, what seems like the poster is trying to do is not be like a high maintenance shallow chick and find something deeper than looks. THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT.

This is too funny...guys scared of getting emotional attachments and onetis. If all you value in a woman is her looks then your going to have a harder time meeting women.

Only AFCs get emotional attachments to chicks who they haven't had sex with. Only AFCs who have no life nor life purpose have onetis.

Lets face it we like physically attractive women, so that is one out of the many things you look for. Her being attractive is what caused yu to approach her in order to find out if she meets your standards.

A relationship to me is a series of shared experiences. Whether it's a gf, a "cool guy" friend, etc.

So longs women aren't the center piece of your life, then you want have tthat needy emotional attachment. Nor will you have onetis.

Take my life for example, I'm convinced I can meet any chick. I really live my life and women complement it.

I have acting school that takes up most of my week, on my off days I have to do projects with film makers, and the other days is when I do full day sarging. You can also slot day2s in somewhere.

When time permits I try to do something that consists of...
- New foods
- Traveling
- Extreme Sports

Those 3 things are more important to me than woman. Overall these chicks know there not the center of my world and the ironic thing is they know I have other women. The also know how much I enjoy there company...

Am I AFC for genuinely liking a chick? I've been meeting quality chicks who as the interaction went on I started liking more and more.

I wish that were true. Unfortunately, most guys, and particularly the ones interested in desexualizing themselves as a means to sex, generally have a scarcity mentality and would never contemplate anything but monogamy.
