Hola!
Sooooo... I posted up a video yesterday featuring a girl who was complaining about text messaging (which you can read/see HERE). I did it just to give proof to guys on these boards that there ARE women out there who, contrary to popular belief, do NOT want a guy communicating through them via message.
Today, I found a video that actually has research, evidence and PROOF to back up my whole "texting KILLS relationships" mantra. It's a video - this time with a guy - who gives insight to a research study done at Brigham Young University about text messaging as it relates to the happiness a couple experiences. Here's the video link:

And, for those of you that prefer to read studies yourself (to see that I'm not making this stuff up), there is now TONS of research that has been done correlating failing relationships with frequency of texting. Check it out:
Too much texting can disconnect couples, research finds
With Struggling Relationships, Talking Still Trumps Texting
Using Technology to Connect in Romantic Relationships: Effects on Attachment, Relationship Satisfaction, and Stability in Emerging Adults
E-Mail Is Easy to Write (and to Misread)
Too Many Texts Can Hurt A Relationship
I'm not sure if any of this will satisfy the "pro-texting" crowd, but I wanted you all to at least see evidence and proof that, regardless of how good you think you are with texting, it can ultimately KILL your relationship. Hope this helps!
