The loss of the ability of non-Chad-tier men to BetaBux their way into poon (i.e., by essentially mogging the UnderemployedCels) will be profound. Of course, by my time, it seemed that my good professional job (at the time) sure didn't translate into women - at least the non-fat, non-single-mommy chicks  - being all that interested in me, so this has been a trend for a while.

AI could put many women out of work too. The video creator barely considered that element.

In the past 20 years, women have had more jobs. Prior to women entering the workforce in large numbers during Second Wave Feminism (1960s-1980s feminism) and continuing 1990-present, women had to marry in part for a man's resources. The women of my generation (Gen Y/Millennials) all grew up in the 1990s-2000s expecting to spend their lives working.

Good white collar jobs haven't meant much in terms of getting laid and getting extended relationships for a long time. We had a now closed thread in 2023-2024 on this about how somewhat above average pay scale jobs mean nothing.

In your case specifically, your above average STEM job didn't offset your below average height. You would have needed an outlier tier STEM job to get vagina through conventional dating.

A guy with an above average STEM job and an average height in USA now is also somewhat invisible but might be able to beta bucks with a strong social circle. That guy isn't going to go far (and hasn't gone far for the last 20 years) on dating websites/apps and through approaching strangers.

Ultimately, I don't see AI changing the beta bucks model that much because it was already declining.
