Okay so I applied about 2 months ago and today they called me and asked if I was still interested. And we set an interview for Monday. Its for some processing job in the back(not quite sure what that is) but this is great. So what do you guys think? Will girls who come in think I'm gay? I know I'm gonna have to get all dressed up and be dead serious for my interview. :rockon:

If he was apply for a job with the corporate office it would help, but for what sounds like working the stock room, I doubt knowledge like that will help him with the interview.

True, probably the biggest thing that they are looking for is to make sure that you are not some horny freak who is just trying to meet girls, and will end getting them sued for sexual harassment. Act like you are a boring but responsible kid and that it has never crossed your mind that this job might get you laid. You might find the interviewer engaging you in idle chitchat to find out if you have a girlfriend. Tell them that you do.

I needed a job for the summer so I actually dressed nice (Polo shirt, belt, nice shoes, colonge and kahki pants) and applied to around 10 places. Everytime I talked to the managers they commented on how I looked "nice" and thought I was a "nice boy" so you should look sharp and dress to impress for your interview! One of the managers actually hired me on the spot after interviewing me for 2 minutes Try to talk about the interviewer and be interested in THEM to show that your socially smart.
BTW why you wanna work at Victoria's secret? you get no benefits if your a guy.. unless you like to buy lingerie for your girlfriend or yourself... lol just kidding. I think your better off working at Pacsun or Abercrombie and Fitch, I know a lot of HB who like to work there cuz you get huge discounts. But ya if that's the only job open then your better off working and developing your social skillz.

Well I just need a job til I leave for the Air Force in October and what better place then Victoria's Secret? I think It'd be great to work there. I mean I'd be happy to come in every damn day! lol
On myspace Victoria's Secret has their own page n forum and I've got some girls giving me tips for my interview like what to wear n all. I think I'm gonna go with a black polo shirt,black dress pants and black dress shoes. Cant wait to go out to lunch with all the hot *****es I'll be working with!

As far as them asking you why you want to work there; keep in mind they will be a little suspicious of your motives. Treat it like any other interview: same canned reasons, more money, better hours, easier working conditions...you know.

Ask THEM questions about these things as a good interview goes both ways.

So my interview was today. It was really quick but went really well. Im pretty sure I've got this. When I came in I went up to the cash register and told the girl I had an interview. She kinda laughed and said its been awhile since a guys been interviewed there. Theres def some hot girls working there but they seem pretty cool. My actual interview took only bout 10mins and the lady was cool n all. One thing she said was that most guys would be gigling and stuff about working with panties and all that. It def went well but at the same time I could tell she was kinda laughin at the fact that I am a straight guy tryin to get a job there. I am pretty sure I've got this though.

Dude, have LOTS of fun while working there. Back in my AFC days, I wanted to take a child care course because it was mostly women who took it. I never did, and I wish I would have.

Oh Im sure I will man. Now with this job since Im gonna be working with so many hbs, theres sure as hell aint no room to be shy or whatever-Ive gotta have all my co-workers talking about me aka the new guy in a good way. Damn this is gonna be great!

I suggest not hitting on any of them. Maybe some light flirting - but mostly use them for social proof. If you get too friendly before they're comfortable with you they'll probably think you're creepy.

Yea thats true, Im not gonna try n date any of them or anything like that. I'll just work my way in and become good friends with them and then Im sure they have hot friends to introduce me to. I just gotta show them that Im not some perv-I gotta be known by them especially as the really chill guy who works at VS with all the girls.

Well I got the job. I start Friday. It only pays $6.30/hr though but hopefully its worth it.
