Hello,

I'm trying to separate myself from the sneaker wearing masses if I'm doing something social in which they are not required. Anyone have a good shoe recommendation that is 1. not a sneaker, 2. versatile (can be worn with formal and casual attire), and 3. Is durable and costs no more than $80-$100? I went to the mall recently but didn't really see anything I liked.

Thanks

Boat shoes r fine especially if u can get the 4 lacehole variety. Alternatives to b shoes: Google that style forum has a truckload.

Hey CJ
Also try googling desert boots. They re a nice half boot style that often a bit different e.g. I ve got a blue suede pair that go great with tan or bone chinos.

Create self-fulfilling prophecies. Always assume the positive. Assume she likes you. Assume she wants to talk to you. Assume she wants to go out with you. When you think positive, positive things happen.

Hey Espi
they look great but they are outside OPs price range. what should the guy Google if he wants to find cheaper knock offs of that style.

Can't go wrong with some sperry's or moccasins. And also.

I know you said no sneakers but a pair of low cut white sneakers looks classy as well, just need the right kind.

Vans used to make an Italian leather slip on that was perfect and only about $40. Having trouble finding them lately though.
