Hey guys.

I just got a membership to the gym and it is amazing the differenc I feel after just a few days. I am psyched to finally be improving myself in this aspect.

Here are my specs

5´10"
160 lbs
Super Ectomorph!
I can bench about 150
I also do sprints every morning
Overall I am in good shape..just need some more mass.

So far so good, but my real question is about diet.

See, I dont eat meat at all. Been a pseudo-Veg for about a year now.

I do eat fish and other seafood, but red meat and chicken are just plain gross to me and if I started eating them again I would get terribly ill!

So my question is, are there any Vegie-Builders out there?

How can I put on some muscle mass without consuming pounds of meat?

Your help is greatly appreciated!

cheers

If you can eat seafood/ fish, eggs and milk then I don't see the problem really in putting on mass. You are ingesting three different sources for essential/ first class proteins, which is good.

There are plenty of vegetarian bodybuilders out there, though vegan bodybuilders (no fish or dairy either) are more of a rarity.

Put on the mass by eating the other 3 protein sources. You can also get all your amino acids IF you eat a very large range of different vegetables, nuts/ seeds and wholegrains.

Too many calories. Not enough proteins. They're like 45% fat man.

Beans have tons of proteins. Also tuna.

You'll be ok man.

You might want to check out info on Bill Pearl. He was Mr. Universe and all that good stuff while he was a vegatarian.
