if you can handle the maintance, used luxury car.

My knockaround/go to the gym/store car is a 95 white lexus ls300. no rims, no super sound system, just clean as hell and there is no doubt if i had to i could pull ass in this car without question. and at almsot 20 years old it still rides smoother than most of my friends buicks/hayundai's/mazda's. the car just passed the 300 thousand mile mark and i could get in the car now, drive it to Arkansas right now with no questions asked.

Oooooo it REALLY depends on the model of the luxury car. Certian luxury brands can be seriously problematic depending. More details are needed before a sound judgement can be made. If you don't want to disclose more information, may I suggest simply doing independent research on the vehicle yourself.

Well how about a brand new off road vehicle for $9,500? You get some 27" tires and 16x7 rims on it, install music, electric roll up windows, 2-way alarm system, and you're set. If you want throw an air conditioning into it. Chances of it being unique are 100%, unless you living in Canada. You'll have a unique import car.

Here are two comparison videos, to Porsche Cayenne http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v_bPH1YcAPE
and Hummer H2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RUHHANKAOQo

You can order it and pick it up at your nearest port city or have it shipped to your door. Call them 8-800-200-52-32

I would get a used luxury car if it costs less than $10,000. I would really look into BMW 8 series. I wouldn't look into anything Cadillac, Ford, Chevy, Oldsmobile, etc has to offer. If I was paying $20,000 and up I'd look into custom hot rods, 33 fords, etc. I wouldn't buy a brand new honda or toyota for one simple reason, brand new cars depreciate quick. I'd get a used honda or used toyota instead.

One more important thing, get a car with manual transmission. You will enjoy your life more. Most idiots with automatics press gas and break and drive like idiots, with manual you will learn to drive like a human being.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

and assumingy ou can find a non dealer auto shop, the maintenance isn't THAT bad.

in the last 2 years i had to replace the transmission on the lexus, actually both of them the one that got stolen the SC300 i had just put a new tranny in it like a month earlier. one was a stick the ES is an auto.. i got a new (Aftermarket) transmission put in the lexus sc for under 2,500. and that ws the first real needed work i had done on the car in about 2-3 years other than new tires ($800) and reguar oil changes/tune ups

new cars they get you beucase usually to keep the warranty and to keep the resale value you, they push you get all the work done there at their sho and they bust heads.

Here is Niva running 12.46 killing BMW M3. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8wCNfbgDjm0&feature=g-vrec

Lexus is a good brand. But are you buying a sedan or coupe? Americans used to ride in full size 4 door sedans just 20 years ago, now SUV is in style. Why don't you get an SUV? Difference in driving is night and day, you're sitting high, you see more, other cars respect you (because you big). I like the Gelenwagen http://motors.shop.ebay.com/Cars-Trucks-/6001/i.html?_dmpt=US_Cars_Trucks&_trksid=p2050890.m1603&LH_ItemCondition=2|0&_mak=Mercedes-Benz&_mod=G-Class
It has solid front and rear axles and thus it is not just an SUV, but a fully blown off road vehicle. Just put large tires on it, 33" for example, and you're set. It even has front and rear diff locks, nothing to install. Plus mid axle diff lock.

SUVs may still be considered cool in Russia (where popular tastes lag about ten years behind the West), but in North America, they are seen as soccer mom cars. Even high end SUVs like BMW X5, Audi Q7, Mercedes ML, etc. are predominately driven by women.

Assets or liabilities? assets IMO
invest in stocks or buy pure gold and stash it in a deposit box at the bank, ruby works too, just a stupid thought of mine

a used car brings lots of trouble if you aren't careful, but then again the new ones get a hefty tax, better to buy a used lexus
