This is a post about dreams I wanted to make for a while... and i'll show how it's related to DJing.
Author Ray Kurzweil turned me on to the idea of using dreams as a means to solve my problems. He focuses on the waking up period-- entering into a kind of lucid state before you get up, and asking questions then.
For myself if I have a problem I tell myself consciously during the day that I want a solution to it. Inevitably I get a resolution.
This works for work, chicks, friends, spiritual, etc...etc...
For instance, there was a chick I wanted to contact but she was putting me off a bit. I had a dream to call her (in 2 weeks), I did and got a good response. Another one that I had not seen fir a whike, but again a dream and it was worth it to contact her again.
A few nights ago my dream pointed out an element physically that I need to work on..... Ive had dreams about ways to increase my weight, ways to handle situations at work, everything!
Develop a trust in the process, and believe that it will work for you. For me, it took my years to trust Ray Kurzweil's suggestion, but now... about 2 years later I use this as a main technique to improve myself.
Next step -- meditation!
