Hey,

As the schoolyear comes to the end, I look at myself all through this year. Well, actually, in the last 6 months or so. How far I've come since then! After the football season, I was depressed as I hadn't played much, and I'd been rejected by my big crush of like a year. I was a really bad case of AFC. I decided to first work on my own body, ie working out and doing cardio and stuff. I worked out all winter long, got good confidence, and I'm getting muscle.

I started acting like I'm already the Alpha Male (I got that from a book by Tony Robbins, Unlimited Power, which I recommand for everyone) and acting like I was a star. Football pre-season was a blast, but didn't leave time for girls with all the training plus my homeworks, so I didn't practice my skills all that much. Then I started practicing just talking with girls, not going for the number just yet, as I wanted to really get that much more confidence. And now after all that, I got a girl seemingly crazy about me, always trying to get my attention (which is annoying) and I'm getting popular with the other ladies. I don't know if it's just me, but not thinking about who you're talking to seems to help. I mean, you forget it's a girl you want or whatever, and don't even think about what to say, just let it flow.

A year ago I wouldn't have thought this possible. But now I see where I'm heading with my dating life, unfortunately I got only 3 weeks left before I leave my area for the summer so I don't wanna get #s and not use them, as I said in a previous post.

I'm still not a DJ, far from it, but I'm a proof that you can go from a self-dejecting loser to a confident jock getting more and more girls liking him. It's not a total success story, as I'm still writing it, but I think I'm going the right way. I just thought I'd share my progress for those few of you who think they don't see progress in themselves.

Woopsies, sorry I posted it here, instead of in the success stories forum where I think it belongs... Any mods mind moving it there, if it's actually where it goes?
