Hey everyone,

I was just hired as the University mascot and I would like to know if anyone did this before and if they could give me some tips and pointers for the job.

I was also liking to know how this affected their social life, good or bad.

Well, I've never been a mascot, but I'll throw out my thoughts.

You'll probably wanna keep it under wraps. You know how people can get drunk and rowdy at the games, and they'll mess with the mascots. It would be worse if they knew who it was.

As for your social life, I dunno. Would telling a girl you are/used to be a mascot be useful? I guess it would be an interesting topic, if only for a little while. Or, she might see it was kind of a dorky thing, and you'll lose points. It would be up to you and your judgments on what kind of girl she is.

Anyway, have fun out there! Keep the team spirit high and enjoy the games.
