Unique situation, advice needed

I met a HB 7.5 in my summer school class. I wanted to # close her last Thrusday since it was the last day of class, but I didn't get a chance to because she finished her final exam way before I did. However being the persistent DJ that I am, I decided to attempt to # close her through e-mail. I had her e-mail because we were in a group project together. I sent her an e-mail on Sunday night. Here's the e-mail I sent her:

"Home shopping network lady

Hey HB. You seem like you have a fun personality, we should definitely hang out sometime. Because we both know that you miss my jokes A LOT. Nice job writing all the formulas on your hand for the test, cheater. LOL

I called her "home shopping network lady" because we had that group project together and when we were practicing she tried too hard to sound super sexy and it was hilarious. It was also a great opportunity for me to bust her ballz with some C/F. I also teased her about writing the formulas to our final exam on her hand because I told her that's what I was planning on doing.


I wasn't expecting a response for a couple of days, but I definitely knew she would respond because I had elevated her IL pretty good. To my surprise she responded today. But what I wanted was for her to give me her phone # in the e-mail, but this is what she wrote:

Oh stop it. We all know YOU had the formulas written on your hand. How did you end up doing in the class? Did you pass??

Now I know she's definitely interested, but I usually never flat out ask the girl for her number. How do you think I should proceed from here?? Of course I won't reply to her e-mail until Wednesday But do you think since we are talking through e-mail that I should just flat out ask for her phone #? Or if anyone has any creative ways for me to respond to her e-mail let me know.

You might want to ask her to a specific event as well(reduces flakage).

I guess its because I'm not use to pimping through e-mail..LOL Usually when I approach girls and fluff them for a few minutes I say "hey your really fun, we should hang out." 99% of the time, the girl offers her # right on the spot. But I guess since I'm writing an e-mail she really can't understand that. I guess I'll just be creative and extract her # through some more C/F. I'll let you know what happens.

Do what bp1974 said, emails don't show your tone , they are only written words and can be misread or interpreted. When you are doing thigns face to face, girls can get the hint with your tone. With email its a tad different. Also some girls are just like guys who don't see the signs, and NEED more direct questions.


Trust me i've had an ex obsessed with me, and coulden't understand that when i say "wait till i get you tommorow" means I am coming with her tommorow. DUH <-- maybe not a clear enough example but my point is some girls are thick!

seeVIP: Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. Tonality is a huge influence for me and if a girl cannot see that then its a little bit harder to work it.

Tell her that meet up with you at lunch or after class and you will tell her all about it. After your get together (with kino) ask her for her phone number so that you could get together again sometime.

I don't get it, why do you have to ask the chick out ON THE PHONE. You see this girl a lot right? If so then just ask her to join you for lunch because you were hungry.

If you don't see her anymore, why don't you just set something up on email and have her confirm that, and then get her number "just in case".

I guess your right though, I could offer up a get together through e-mail rather than trying to get her #. But talking to her would be a lot easier than communicating through e-mail. We will see, I'm seeing 3 other girls at this party on Friday that are above her on my "most wanted" list...

Let's get together this Sunday and I'll tell you all about it.



I was going to pour on some more C/F especially since she already said "Oh stop it." Which means "oh I love it" in girl language, but like you guys said its hard for her to tell over e-mail. So I kept it short and sweet. I'll let you know how she replies..LOL
