ok I've been working out for a few months now (2months+ I think). Anyways, recently I've been gaining weight like crazy and I don't know what the hell is going on. I'm not doing anything differently. Maybe I sleep a little more, but that's about it. Although the past 2-4 days I didn't exercise a lot. BUT THE WEIGHT GAIN IS SCARY WTF IS GOING ON AHH!?!?!:cuss:

As long as it's muscle... :D

But if it is fat, do cardio. I actually want to gain weight but I'm failing to do so.
My guess is that as you work out, you eat more, and that's why you are gaining weight.

You on a protein supp?

I noticed impressive muscle gains in my 3/4th day into taking whey, at low doses. It was crazy.

Measure yourself (no not there). Your waist should still be smaller than when you started.

Waist is about the same. I think it is due to the HUGE amounts of food I've been eating. Like I feel like I am constantly making tuna sandwiches/protein shakes and lean meats + veggies + oatmeal. I think that is why. Also, i may not be doign enough cardio like someone said. I will up the cardio. I notice that I also need to drink more water since my mouth feels dry a lot esp after eating something salty like bbq sauce.

I have gained about 15 pounds from when I started, so now I will do massive cardio and still keep lifting to burn off that fat. I'd say at leats half of my gains are fat...althought maybe that is an over estimate (i hope :))

You're eating more than your body can assimilate. You may have a intestinal blockage. I say you should see a nutritionist in order to learn what you should eat and how much you'd actually need.

Really you should pick one or the other, cardio or lifting. Your supposed to eat alot when your lifting weights, you just turn fat into muscle.

A. You should do both. Stopping any weightlifting you do will just tell your body "Hey, I don't need this muscle, lets get rid of it"

B. You can't "turn" fat into muscle. This isn't tissue alchemy. Fat is a lipid, muscle is a protein. They are two totally different things and cannot be converted. Fat can be burned for energy and lost, and then you can GAIN muscle by taking in excess protein and carbs and possibly healthy fats, but you cannot "turn fat into muscle".
