Did anyone else see this episode today?
I've never watched her show before, but I read some buzz about it this weekend....the results were suppose to be "shocking". She dressed up as 350 lb woman and went out in public to see what it's like to be fat for a day.
The whole thing seemed so contrived and set up. The undercover video clips didn't even show much.
She went on a few blind dates with guys...and the first thing she brought up was her weight (basically forcing the conversation into "do you date big girls"). Guys are attracted to self esteem and self confidence and she showed non of that. She looked about 40, and the guys were about half her age.
I don't know....it just perpetuated victimhood for overweight people. Men are pigs! It's ok to be fat, that sort of thing. What about personal responsibility?
What if the tables had been turned. Say a 350 lb AFC was set up with some hot girls. Would he get the same sympathy? Of course not.
No wonder I dont watch day time TV!
