just an observation...watched tv tonight and on a few shows I noticed a trend happening...shows like Everybody Loves Raymond and King of Queens...seems like the wife wears the pants..holds the upper hand..seems like the husband always backs down to the wife..the wife gives him some look and he trembles in fear...audience roars, think its funny..makes me sick

what is going on today? and I got news for ya..its not just on tv..i see it all the time with my real life friends...they are afraid of their wives and the wives control the relationship...from finances to key decisions and purchases...

really annoying and granted i am single and maybe this is why..I believe a relationship should be 50-50 ..no upper hand..and in these modern day relationships the wives boss the husband around ... not for me

Take a look at history, wasn't CLEOPATRA partly responsible for stabbing Julius CESAR in the back many long years ago. She used men and on and on.

I mean all these BS articles on this site say do this and do that, yet read most of the posts, everybody is so desperate to get LAID, how can women not be in control.

If you can't live without puzzy, then yes, you're gonna get controlled, no matter what you claim.

I"M SINGLE and I BANG 4 chics per week. Yeah, but these guys go out to bars and FEEL LIKE the night was a total disaster if they don't wind up banging a chic. Too many guys can't live without puzzy, and in that sense, theres the problem.

If you have to get puzzy everytime you go out, and you can't just go out, hang with friends, and have fun once in a while, and hey if there is a hot chic and you do wind up getting her number, cool, but if not, who cares, well then, theres the problem.

Too many guys are so desperate to get laid, they let themselves be controlled, DJ or AFC.

You don't have to be an AFC to be controlled.

Hell, there are many guys who can get almost any girl they want night and night out and can claim to be this master DJ, but you know what, they aint no better then the AFC, cause night in and night out, they NEED that pUZZY. And if they don't get it, they feel like the night or day was a waste.

Gotta live some for yourself and not for your penis.

strong female/weak male = everyone wins except the true natural god-given male - sad but true! Wives love these shows because it reinforces their manipulative agenda to control their mate by non-physical means.

btw - a relationship is not 50/50 - if it was you'll always get a split decision if each keep their ground on an issue - woman r subservient to the male - period - it seems white males r the only ones that dont understand this - generally speaking -

You are right but it is even the "black" shows on TV which often show the husband/father to be a big wimp or idiot.

The morons writing these shows should be horsewhipped.

I really think it is just a case of attacking those percieved to be in power. Rightly or wrongly, the upper and middle class white male (and other males in some cases) is percieved to be in power, so the jackasses in hollywood think it is great fun to make us look like fools.

It will happen to latino men soon enough, just you wait.

Problem is, you have to lay the law down in the beginning. If you meet some chic and let her control what goes on, and then date her for some time and let her control you, get engaged, then marry her, and on and on,

it all starts in the beginning. If you don't want to be controlled, don't let her control you. Some guys like being controlled, who knows why, maybe they just need another mother or something, I don't know, but if you let her control you from the start, it'll be merely impossible to change 10 years down the road. And if you do, you'll wind up divorced and living in a cardboard box. But if you get along in the beginning and she knows you wont take most of her crap, she'll know that forever or you'll just part your seperate ways.

You can't change 10 years down the line because it's not that easy.
