Master Don Juan
heres a good snack to enjoy twice a day if you can stomach it!
16 oz. Can of chili
10 oz. can of corn
1 patty hamburger mixed in
12 oz. glass of whole milk mixed with some water (helps me digest it better personally)
yields somewhere around-
1,100-1,300 calories
80+ gms protein
100-120+ gms carbs
30+ gms fiber (woah, watch out! you will crap alot!)
i eat this meal twice a day for a week and i can put on about 10+ solid pounds easily when ever i need to bulk up quick. It's not the best plan but it works temporarily and works great anytime you want a high cal ,quick meal. The fiber fills you up and expands in your gut and it draws water and carbs into the muscles, because it's a complex carb and the sodium content futher bloats up the muscles even more, the corn futher increases the carb content and it the protein completes the incomplete protein in the beans, the milk adds to the protein content as well as calories and the beef patty? it tastes good! (it's fatty, but all the fiber absorbs the fat anyways so it's all good!) plus it nicely boosts the protein content as well!! just make sure to drink about 20 oz. of water an hour after the meal, fiber NEEDS WATER because it aborbs alot of water in your system..trust me, unless you want to become constipated..drink water!! i also heard that fiber expands in the gut and it needs water to pass through (???)
this meal just sits in my gut for hours and i have a ton of energy after the fullness starts to go away...if you wanted to, you could even add some bisquits ,toast of nacho chips to the mix..maybe a serving of broccoli or a small salad also!
i eat this meal every other day to say regular and also keep my weight on the up and up. i am naturally lean, but i gain muscle easily- i don't know if it's the genes or what, but most would say that this many carbs at once would make most people fat..i am thinking that because of the enormous fiber content it really slows down the absorbtion rate of the carbs and fat into the system..who knows, all i know is that it works!
