Many times, I notice posts talking about handling rejections. Others talk about what to do when a girl disrespects you. We even have an abundance of b*tch test posts.
But how come so little of you actually believe the girl you're dating is going to love you? That she's going to love your wits? Your style? Don't you really think so?
I don't blame you if you think you don't, since most of the posts on the board you seek for advice seem so negative.
I just watched a video, and you guys probably watched it too. It's called The Secret. It talks about how your thoughts attract things to your lives.
Don't mistake handling negative situations as positive thinking too! Whatever you think about, manifests. Like the video says, if you think of something you like and say "Yes", chances are, you'll achieve it. If you think of something you don't like and say "No", chances are you'll make it come true too.
Why? It's because the subconscious mind can't tell real from fiction. Yes from no. All it does is try to achieve whatever is pictured in your mind.
So when you picture yourself handling a bad situation, your subconscious won't focus on not making it happen. It'll make the event happen, exactly how you thought it!
Well that might sound fine and dandy, but how do we get around doing it anyways?
First things first. When you choose to visualize, think of the things you want. Whenever you put your imagination to work, be it for worry or for masturbating, think of something you desire! That helps your subconscious a lot in making your thoughts materialize for you.
Secondly, whenever negative things crowd your mind, don't fret! Why would you choose to think of the bad things that 'may' happen when you could think of the good things that's definitely going to happen? Someone once said, "Think you can, think you can't. Either way, you'll be right." Your mind is so powerful it can make a same situation work both ways for you, so think positive!
Third, forget all the negative posts! You don't need to handle negative situations because this girl isn't going to do that, right? It's all in your head. She isn't going to humiliate you, and she isn't going to eat you either! Don't crowd your mind with negative things that may happen and think about all the good things that's going to happen instead.
Fourth, expect the best. A girl is there for you to feel better. You're going out on a date to feel happy. If you're feeling nervous, it's normal. Just try to project all that emotion into being excited. Hell, I'm still nervous these days, but when I remind myself how much fun I want to have with this girl, everything else is history!
Finally, we might be bogged down sometimes. All the better. Without bad, there's no way we can appreciate the good. But you know what? Life's too short to be sitting at home whining about how bad life is. Life's too short to be scared of taking risks.
When you think of life this way, how could having fun with a girl be bad?
