It is not alpha or manly to refer to any woman as a "pig," "fatty," etc. I thought this was supposed to be the "mature" forum.

There is nothing manly about putting someone else down. A real man doesn't need to put others down in order to feel good, or hold to some idealistic, impossible standard. That doesn't make you an alpha male, that makes you someone whom others tend to avoid and is called in some circles an "a-hole."

If you want to date only 5'4", 110 lb women with blonde hair and blue eyes, then that's your business, but don't put other women down. Having standards isn't bad, but putting others down is.

I agree with you. What does putting someone down do for you? It gives you an ego boost. Why do you want that ego boost? Because the person you had just put down makes you feel threatened or inferior, so you put them down to rise above it.

Example: Two friends are at a bar, let's call them Bill and Rob. Bill starts talking to a pretty attractive girl and Rob is left sitting there talking to no one. Rob also finds the girl attractive and is seeking a way into the conversation but doesn't know how to enter. So Rob comes over and tells an embarrassing story about Bill to the girl in hope that it will emasculate Bill and make Rob look better in the eyes of the girl.

This is pretty much a situation of an AFC under the veil of the AMOG. I've had this happen to me more times than I can count haha.

Most of the time when a guy gets rejected he will say "Well she's fvcked in the head" "She's a wh0re" "She's a slampig" etc.. Why even waste time thinking about WHAT she is? She rejected you, focus time on finding other women.. Not insults for the woman who rejected you. That will get you nowhere other than bitterness and frustration.

Perfect example of a guy that does sh1t like this: Tom Leykis. I'll admit, he's funny as all hell.. But if he's trying to teach men ways to get laid without paying a penny, I don't think teaching them how to insult a woman is necessary whatsoever.

That looks like some kind of shaming, probably heard the same when I was a kid at school from a teacher.
So if a 50 yrs old user of this forum compair modern women to his time women saying that most modern women are entitled little b1tches who put nothing on the table its because he feels inferior to them?

If an average joe here complain that his gf is getting piggy its of course because he feels threated by her? it could be maybe he is afraid to be smothered in his sleep.

Calling someone name is not the way to go simply because it serves no purpose not because "a real man never call ppl names" or "he feels threatened from the subject".

Ah I see you've met some of my former friends. And they wonder why women avoid them like the plague.

Is the OP a woman by chance?

Not that I disagree. As the saying goes "When you resort to name calling you are losing the argument".

It doesn't matter how good-looking you are, how romantic you are, how funny you are... or anything else. If she doesn't have something INVESTED in you and the relationship, preferably quite a LOT invested, she'll dump you, without even the slightest hesitation, as soon as someone a little more "interesting" comes along.

I respect people who earn it. Women like men have to earn my respect, the same way I have to their respect. Women who earn my respect, earn it through their own merits, but this whole "you must respect women" campaign that Feminazi's have conjured up doesn't wash with me. How on earth can I have any respect for a woman who doesn't respect herself? It's also natural to be critical of someone's appearance just as it is natural to be appreciative of someone's appearance. Women are just as critical about a man's appearance as a man is critical of woman's appearance.

This isn't the mature man forum, this is the general discussion board.

I agree with you that putting others down is not a good thing, and probably is even a sign of insecurity. However, this has nothing to with what is "alpha" or not. Morality has little or nothing to do with attraction.

"Alpha Male" is merely a position held by the most dominant man. If a bigger, stronger guy comes up and knocks your butt into the dirt in front of a bunch of girls, who do you think the alpha male is? Hint: it isn't you.

There is a very large segment of guys here who will tell you that women will be attracted to an "a-hole" first and foremost. I am not one of them, but it is a commonly held belief here.

I think you're pulling at the wrong end of the stick here, what the op means is that 'true' alpha males show respect for women, yes, and men. You should treat everyone with respect and only when they give you reason not to respect them should you treat them otherwise (although that doesn't mean to say you treat them distastefully). Yes people need to earn your respect but alpha males set the example, the good example, and that example being treat other people with respect.

I treat everybody I meet with a basic level of respect, however that is different from actually respecting someone. I won't know if I respect someone until I get to know them better. I've tried the whole "giving people the same level of respect that I want" before and got my pants pulled down by these people more often than not, they treated me like a mug. So I've changed my stance. I will give a woman all of my respect when she earns it and that goes for men too.

Fat chicks are fücking disgusting. I don't give a damn how they "need love, too," I don't give a damn how nice or smart they are, they are pathetic and make me puke. Do I tell this to their face? No, not individually, I say "Have a nice day" and leave. But here I am, on this forum, expressing my disgust for them, writ large. This is the problem with your post: it's not about the social interaction, it's not about how you treat others, you're the thought police, censoring private talk away from where the would-be offended party is located. Alpha is amoral, there is no inherent paragon of virtue in alpha power.

Admit it, you're a chick.

Sure there are disgusting women in this world that most of us would probably find repulsive, but what does it do for YOU to insult them? There is nothing wrong with thinking a woman is unattractive or gross, but insulting them doesn't do anything other than making the woman feel down about herself. Now again, what does that do for YOU?

I like perserverance's standpoint on respect. Great way to look at it. Treat everyone with a basic level of decency, then go from there.. Let them earn your respect, or earn your disdain.

If nothing is said to a chick, directly, who is insulted?

Once again, this is not about the social interaction between you and fat chick. This is the social interaction between a locker room of guys. Women are merciless of men in their version of the locker room, i.e. chick talk, and men have every as much liberty to speak their minds. It doesn't matter if there are women like CuriousGirl on this forum; if you step into the lion's den then be prepared to hear insulting things. It is abundantly clear the original post isn't about flaming some female member of Sosuave; it's about guys referring to some chick in real life (like some fat chick who cøckblocked him), some chick who isn't even here. Do you not see the absurdity?

So no, this has nothing to do with how you should treat people, directly, with respect.

If you have had a girl before, having a girlfriend does not translate to

success. It is much better to be a single guy who is working on himself

than to be the whipped guy in a relationship taking orders who is stuck there.

Being an alpha male is taking responsibility, making decisions, being direct,

saying what's on your mind and not fearing women.

An alpha does not fear other males because he is strong, yet he doesn't go

around starting fights. He is himself regardless of how many times women

try to shoot him down and kick him when he's down. He knows women aren't

innocent beings going around always doing good.

There's nothing wrong with locker room talk like you had just stated. In fact, I believe it's healthy to know what you want and don't want and to share that with your peers. In this process you gain new understandings lose old ones, and all together grow as a person.

I'm sort of on the border here. On one point I feel that it's ideologically right to treat everyone with a certain amount of respect, even people you hate..
But on the other hand, I feel that you have to fight fire with fire. If someone insults you insult them back etc...

I was out a few nights ago with a group of girls who I went to highschool with. My wingman and I ran into them at a bar in our hometown and we joined them. The whole time two of these girls were talking ridiculous BS like "I would never settle for any man other than Brad Pitt" etc.. It just made me sick to hear that.. How shallow can a person be? So I replied back to here "Well, good luck with that! Better keep dreaming!" In sort of a C+F tone. She got so pissed at me for saying it, but I got a laugh out of her anger. These girls were also HB6-7 on a good day. So they weren't extremely beautiful.

It just makes me sick to my stomach how entitled all people in our society feel through media sources like MTV culture and sh1t like that. How shallow and materialistic people really are. Personally, I'm not like that and I never want to be that.. I may be jaded and hypocritical with this post, but I'm just a product of my environment in the end and it's how I truly think.
