Top Things to Keep in Mind on a First Date! (Updated with new question)

Alright guys, the numbers and dates are starting to roll in. There's one in particular that you really hope will work out well. (Actually, I'm in that position right now). Anyways, what are the main points you try to keep in mind when you head out on that all important first date. Besides the basics (keep it light, don't overdo complements, don't talk about the future, try to do something fun and unique, etc.), what are some things that work well for you?

I do the gentlemen thing, hold the door and stuff, girls like it cause most guys don't even think about that stuff. Let her do most of the talking and actually pay attention. Don't kiss on the first date it makes them wonder. But most of all have a good time and remember that there are tons of other girls out there, so win or lose it won't matter to you. When you realize that it helps take the edge off.

1 Do what you want to do. Don't worry about uniqueness of the date. Keep it simple

2 have fun

3 Find out what she is interested in. What does she like to do for fun. It all depends on what you are looking for. I don't like wasting my time on girls who are lame no matter how hot they are.

4 have a clean vehicle

5 alcoholic beverages help

6 If she is cool, kino works well

7 make sure your house/apt. is clean and smelling good just in case.

8 Don't worry about cutting the date short of things aren't flowing smooth.

9 Really focus on having fun.

10 If you're feeling it go for the goodnight kiss. Just use your gut on this one.

Talk as less as possible, not only that but keep as less conversation as possible. No awkward silence - just do action dates where u laugh more then u talk.

N the ONE thing u have to keep in mind is - How interested is this chick in me. Test her. Turn the tables around, she has to please YOU.

OK, so here's a question. Suppose you're on a date this weekend and things are going really well. During that date, would you go ahead and mention or make plans for another date the following week or weekend before you take her home? I guess guys like Doc Love would say no, because that's anti-challenge and you're supposed to leave them kind of wondering where they stand... but then again what's wrong with riding out good momentum if you're otherwise doing everything else right?
