was workin with this girl for awhile and really liked her she kinda knew it and played some mind games back and forth, some other female friends told be she is just screwin with me till i make the move, well i never did and now i no longer work with her, i e mailed her last weekend and she said she wanted t keep in touch and a few of us went out that week end anyways during our e mailin back and forth she gave me her # and told me to give her a call, well i didn't need to since i just met her where we were all goin but its been about a week now since i have last talked to her, i have e mailed her but she told me she never read her e mail so SHOULD I JUST CALL HER UP, WOULD THAT BE ALRIGHT OR WOULD THAT KINDA BE WIERD SINCE I HAVEN'T TALKED TO HER IN AWHILE? AND IF I DO WOULD THAT SEEM NEEDY AND LIKE I AM DESPERATE??

A universe...where heartbreak and sadness have bee
"Just call her up?" Not just to talk, no.

But she gave you her number for a reason. ;) ;)

It's waiting to happen. Arrange it.

You are confusing an invitation to get together, or even a simple phone call, with desperation.

Desperation is when you become emotionally afflicted with the situation....if she said no, then you start wailing in hurt. If she said yes, then you get an emotional "high." That's desperate. If you don't let the situation get out of hand, then you're doing fine.

Again, let me say this again, there is NOTHING WRONG with wanting a date with a girl. That is your privilege as a MAN. Women (to this day) still expect a man to initiate the move. Good luck and have fun man.

geez....call, its not about desperation, its about your INACTION. She's been waiting for you to get off your @ss for a while now...Quit freaking out, provided you don't stalk her or hound her with phonecalls, you won't sound desperate....

Ya i guess i see your guys point i have been Over compilcating and over thinking this situation obviously she gave me her number for a reason if she didn't want me to call she would have never gave it to me in the first place, like its not even like i asked for it, she wanted to keep in touch and hang out that weekend(last weekend) then she said well here's my # call me later i never did call her, just met her there, but i guess i still have her # and i should give her a call

I think the reason he was acting or feeling desperate is because he said he e-mailed her back again and she hadn't responsed yet.

Loverboy: **** e-mail!!! If she gave you her number she's interested. Its so much easier to seduce a girl on the phone then through e-mail. Call her up and set up a get together. If she doesn't pick up leave a message. Don't make the situation hard when its so simple.
