throwing a party

I am going to throw a party this weekend...my question is should i invite the three girls that I have been dating...they all know that i have been dating other people, but i see some potential for disaster. Plus if all three are there, then i see a good chance of somehow sleeping alone that night.(i havent slept with any of them yet though)
anywho...thoughts?...
and this is the first party i have ever thrown, any good ideas about throwing a good party?....gonna geta keg more than likely..only gonna be like 20 people, so that should do i think....

Hey, long time reader first time poster on here.

I've thrown a lot of keggers at my apartment so here's my advice:

First off, a keg is too much beer for 20 people, unless you guys are alcoholics A keg is 164 beers, 30 good drinkers will finish it. Keep in mind keg beer isn't pasturized and goes bad if you let it warm up. But, having a keg for 20 expected people isn't all bad, read on.

As to inviting the 3 girls you've been seeing, I wouldn't. Instead, tell the friends you're inviting to bring whoever they want. Naturally, some cute girls you probably haven't met will come along. You'll have a chance to meet so many new people at your party that you won't even think about those 3 girls. Now, your 20 person party has become a 40 person party.

Also, the fact that YOU'RE throwing the party forces you to meet these new people. Walk around, mingle. Don't confine yourself to one room / don't stay in once place too long. (surprisngly easy when you're drunk)

I've met so many HBs cause of a few parties I've thrown. Here's a tip: My roommates and I wear dress shirts and ties and nice pants and everyone else was in jeans and tshirts etc. It's a great conversation starter....

HB: Why are ya all dressed up?
Host: Well, it's my party, and I try to look good for my guests
HB: *instantly interested*

Anyway, thats my two cents...

(oh yeah, and make sure you have plenty of plastic cups!)

first of all party with only 20 people, is called a get together. the PR in PRMoon stands for Public Relations, and I've thrown some sick sick parties in the past. Not so much these days because my two tyrant rulers like to keep the condo in one piece (they've seen my handy work before and they want no part of it). If you want to have a real party expect to charge 7 bucks per male guest and offer lots of free booze. Advertize a week in advance and only make about 200 fliers (If you're of age if not forget that)

20 people and you want to invite 3 girls that like you so all in all its gonna be about 17... that's not a good ration of girls you like to random people to keep the other two occupied. You DEFINATELY don't need a whole keg I suggest a quarter keg (41) for you if you're light weights or a half keg (82) if you prime drinkers.

I think you've got too much on your mind at one time and too little alcohol to control the situation completely. I'd invite 2 tops and spread out the party, don't all hang out in the same area of your crib that way you can seperate them and go between at your leasure.

anyways... By 164 beers I assume you mean 165 glasses of 0.5litres of beer, that's enough for 15 good drinkers...

I have a fb and I barely greet her when I see her in public. We don't talk and we don't let people see us together "as couple". Only as "friends".

im in a small college and we throw some little get togethers at the house we rent. Nothing major because well, we dont want to wreck the house and there is like no extra parking. Anyway, from my experiences most girls dont like drinking beer. Maybe thats just the ones i hang out with though.
