If a picture is worth a 1000 words, a video must be worth an entire library's worth of information.
I was browsing eBay last night and stumbled across hidden surveillance equipment. My idea was to record my night's out in the field and blur faces, beep out names then post it here.

Would this be legal if I removed all identifying information? I feel it could provide a great deal of insight and save me time having to write gigantic posts when I'd rather be outside.

If you blur their images and bleep out the names, you should be fine. That's what shows like Cheaters and other hidden camera shows do when they can't get legal consent to show their images.

Like the above poster said, if you blur their faces, block out the names, and block out any other incriminating/private information about anyone, you should be good to go.

This would also be an excellent way for you to learn from your approaches and analyze what you did wrong.

Cheaters is FAKE. Noticed how they always managed to place the cheating couple by restaurant windows viewable to others including camera crews?
