It was written by a chick it seems. However, even as a guy who has been here for a little over a year, I can attest to the fact that this city is most definitely not for everyone.

Even game-wise, it is quite overrated and the women here are without question the most smug and arrogant women I have ever met out of anywhere in the US. Even California girls are nicer and classier than the plastic green card hunters you have in this city. What gets me is that I do not think Miami really has much of a culture. The "culture" is largely sugar daddies spoiling their plastic sugar babies and the food scene is garbage (literally next to no good Asian or Indian food).

You really see it when you are on Lincoln Road or at the Brickell City Center with all of the trophy wives and sugar babies buying tons of clothing at the stores. They all have that dead look in their eyes and are just money spending machines for some old sugar daddy.

What gets me is how empty, rude, and inconsiderate the people in this city are. It is like they are all overcompensating for newly found wealth and act extra snobby in doing so. You see it in the way they drive (never stop for pedestrians) and the fact that they all carry that angry smug look on their face (they hardly smile or make eye contact here like they do in other cities like Atlanta).

However, this freaking city when it comes to game is the proving grounds.

We have a saying that if you can make it in NYC, you can make it anywhere.

If you can pull in Miami, you can pull anywhere.

The amount of awful people you deal with in this city coupled in with the countless spam approachers (because every PUA wants to have their bootcamp here) puts game here on hard mode.

I compare doing game in Miami to playing in the English Premier League or in the SEC if we are talking college football. It is by and far one of the toughest cities to do well in.

I used to watch VitalyZDTV's videos growing up and it was such a different vibe even before 2012 in this city. Miami kind of felt like a wilder Charleston and a classier New Orleans. It was affordable because remote work techies had not invaded it and I guess the world was just a happier place back then. I visited often in 2012 and even in 2009 and it was just a different vibe altogether, or maybe because I was younger.

However, it does feel hellish these days. The people have definitely become a lot ruder.

The original article is a woman's dating experience in Miami. In reading about the experiences of multiple men in Miami, including @Jesse Pinkman, I would not want to date in Miami. This is coming from someone living a mediocre to highly challenging dating market as well.

Its like most big cities. Great if you are rich or famous and frustrating if you aren't.

The threshold of rich seems to be increasing in the big cities as well with more women getting bachelor's and advanced level degrees and being capable of making their own money too. Just because a woman can make $120,000 per year doesn't mean that she isn't interested in some guy making $400,000+ per year.

Some big cities are worse than others.
