Say, "Oh, good for you..." (not in a nasty way, just a relaxed tone, but maybe slightly "Somebody woke up on the wrong side of bed")... Then walk off...

If she has emotions and doesn't have a boyfriend she will feel bad about it and be like, "sorry just so many guys *this*, and so many guys *that*."

It can mean a lot of things- she's not interested, it's a test to see if you're a real man or she just likes to use guys for attention. That being said you need to figure out which one it is...there is no real solution but to keep talking and decide if she's interested in you or not. Get the number and call a day or so later - if it isn't a fake and she actually sounds happy you called then you have your answer.

Never give a girl your number without getting hers at the same time. It's Uber-lame.

Anyway, if a girl says she has a bf, you didn't get her IL fast enough for her to give her to give your number. Girls will OFTEN forget about their bf's if you got them hooked enough.
