Okay since I quitted my full time job to get back to school I found a new job at a local fruit store.
So I'm the new guy there, I usually work in the backshop preparing fruits or such to be sell but I will help the cashiers to wrap the stuff for the clients if they call for help (I don't have choice; it's a part of the job agreement.)
Thing is; we can't ''really'' focus on having a good visual contact, chat, or kino. I try to go for it sometime but just a little bit because we need to get our job done and the client are in front of us.
They told me I'm like one of the first new guy that cashiers like and everything. I tease them most of the time, have some simple convos about daily stuff; nothing too complicated. I might ask them some ''not too much personnal'' stuff about'em. Or I answer theirs questions.
The good thing is that I can go from one cashier to one another, and they are all beside, so they can see me having fun with the others girl, good competition.
everything seem to be working good, BUT THERE'S ONE THING GOING ON THAT I DON'T GET: they always think I'm not listening to them. I'm not inviting that, I got no phobias, they are just telling me: You didn't listened to what I just said right? I usually reply to them with a little joke, and repeat what they said to assure them I listened to them but I might looked distracted because I was too busy.
what's up with that, why? it's like they are all thinking that.
