These Hallmark and Lifetime movies inflate women's expectations?

I don't watch these stupid channels but my mother does and so did my late aunt. Year round they have these silly Hallmark movies. They typically have a cute late 20s Hb7.5 chicks (cute but not super hot) and the male characters are typically rich chads or above average men with high income jobs like lawyer, or own a successful business that's popular in their small town that they're crushing on and make it look like a fairy tale reality that a rich Chad in a small town is waiting for you.

When I see this I can certainly see why "some" young women are very picky and want a rich Chad like in these Hallmark movies. Then you get HB6 girls who get uber inflated egos from this.

They're corny as hell. I admit some of the actresses are pretty cute.

These movies are always so corny yet still more entertaining than half the garbage on Netflix for some reason.

Yes - I agree. We need to have these channels pull It’s A Wonderful Life from airing this Christmas. I mean come on it’s giving these “HB 6.5-7s”way too big an egos seeing these timeless movies and causing a pvssy shortage for guys like @biggoal! Think they can all get a George Bailey….

Best line from that movie that suggests women have ALWAYS been the way they are today is near the end when they are all chipping in for ol' George.

Im saying shes not super model 10 like you said. Doesnt mean shes hot but someone close to 10 is model quality

I only know Chabert from Not Another Teen Movie, but I remember that the first time round, and at that time I had my eye on Jaime Pressly who brilliantly sent up the hot/nasty cheerleader stereotype.

Amy Smart and Julie Gonzalo (the latter also a decent actress) I think were relegated to Hallmark et al also
