Don Juan
Greek music is full of AFC songs. But the prize HAS to go on this one, which embodies everything an AFC stands for:
rough translation of each part given, with comments
>With a couple of my verses as a pretext
>I park my vehicle and talk to you
>and you, that I know you don't care about me,
>pretend to be shaken to learn that I love you
The AFC wants to talk to his crush, and does not have the guts. Makes poems and uses them as pretext. He knows that the girl thinks of him as a neutered cactus. But still goes ahead with a love confession. No wonder the girl seems shaken!
>you are playing with my sensitivity
>but you don't pay attention to my essence
>and faced with the beats of my heart
>you claim to have other problems
AFC is a sensitive new age male. Girl messes around with him like they all do. AFC wonders why she doesn't pay attention to his "essense" (the fact that he will supplicate to her, shower her with presents, that he is nice and won't abuse her, that he will love her unconditionally and all the nonsense AFCs like to believe)
No wonder she makes up problems in her life to avoid spending time with the AFC
>And what am I asking, what am I asking,
>just a chance to go to heaven
Now that is really sad. AFC has girl so high on the pedestral that he thinks having her is like being in heaven. All he wants is a "chance". Poor AFC...
>With a couple of my verses as a pretext
>I offer to buy you a drink in the canteen
>and while you had forbidden me to come
>you were chatting with those two guys
Hmm, more poems. Offering to buy stuff just to be around. Girl forbids him to come to her, yet prefers to flirt with other, non-AFC guys.
>and then you said you were waiting for me
>you weren't waiting for me, it is my fate
>when I held you in my hands
>that's when I fell for it and you said "no"
Heh, AFC finally realises the girl is giving him ****. Decides to go for it and express himself physically. Of course that turns off girl. AFC gets rejected.
So, can anyone think of a worse case of AFCness in music?

PS: Yes, I admit that I liked that song in my AFC days!
