I notice there are a lot of attractive women in supermarkets in my area but am having difficulty thinking of ways to break the ice, much less get any farther in this environment.

I would like to hear guys who have had success in this or similar scenes.

Specifically, how did you get small talk going and from there the rest?

I've tried these approaches w/somewhat sucess...walk up to where they are looking at say hamburger helper and ask for some other receipes that may compliment it. Ask any question about cooking with whatever it is they are looking at. Do it with confidence and be matter-of-factly

I've tried that same method several times, and it's never worked. I open a lot of women in grocery stores, and I've found the best way to do it is to be
overtly flirtatious. Make your intentions known from the beginning. For example, if you pass a HB in the aisle, just say, "Wow. You're making my trip to the grocery store a little less boring today. What do you think about that?"

Yes, please do that. Please tell her the same thing that 80 other guys have told her that day. Good way to be unique, chief.
