This is some INTERESTING SH1T.

I work for a marketing corporation and tonight in one of our meetings, my manager ($250 000++ a year salary guy) showed us the first 15 minutes of this movie, because the effect of this video on his life and perspective was so powerful, so moving.

Now from what I've seen, there could easily be skeptics against alot of the info in this film, but regardless...It...is...worth it. It gives you a whole new outlook on life, and really does do what it says it will.

If anybody is looking for self-improvement or motivation, spend the $4.99 and watch it with an open mind.

Ive seen it. Many times. Watch the part in the video where they go back to like the 1930's with people in the mills and hammering on steel. They talk about how the powerful people in the past held the secret from everyone. Running on treadmills with no power.

There is an unlimited supply of "stuff". Not everyone wants the same thing. So we can all have what we want. Not everyone wants a beamer. Ive seen it we are created in the likeness of god. So we are godlike. We can have whatever we want as long as we ask the universe for it. And belive we deserve it. Good movie, but im not paying $4.99 for it. Kinda defeats the purpose of the secret charging people for the video. I infact burn copies and hand them out to friends and family members. They make great gifts.

The Secret is bullsh1t. It's no secret that consistent positive thinking can be immensely beneficial for the obvious reasons. But if you honestly think that your thoughts have some physical effects on the universe, that you can cause people with your mind to move their cars to free up the perfect parking spot for you, then you're delusional. A handful of anecdotal evidence of such events, caused purely by coincidence and luck when it actually happens, is hardly proof that it works. And I found it funny that they listed a bunch of famous people throughout history along with ambiguous quotes by them about thinking positive, and tried to pass that off as proof that the most successful people in history used telekinetic powers to achieve their success. Laughable.

There's good stuff in the video if you're smart enough to pick it out. But there's gotta be better material out there that focuses on, ya know, the reality of it, and it's a shame that they had to frame the practice of positive thinking as this ridiculous supernatural bullsh1t..... and that people actually buy it.

it is a great movie. i have bought books pertaining to the law of attraction since.
alot of people i showed it to, were rocked by it. but when they couldn't manifest a million dollars or a car overnight. the novelty wore off. people are to impatient.
we live in a society where everything is a quick fix. thats why the law of attration doesn't work for these people.

the basic premise of using the law of attraction is positivity and passion. that is how all the things you truly desire manifest. but it doesn't happen in one night. and it doesn't happen by sitting on a couch. it requires action. that is why people go back to their old ways and say it doesn't work.... it isn't magic, but its force does work.

I don't know what you're trying to say. If you're speaking of the beneficial effects of positive thinking, then you won't find any arguments here. I was speaking of the movie's attempt at practically trying to pass it off as the Force, which is a bunch of horsesh!t.

Like I said, long-term consistent positive thinking can direct your life in very rewarding and surprising ways. But the movie is actually suggesting that there is literally a supernatural Force-like power that causes these attractions, and that is complete and utter fairy-tale bullsh*t.

Look up the definition of supernatural. That is exactly what the movie is describing. There is absolutely zero science behind it or any evidence whatsoever to support it, yet they're using it to explain a hell of a lot. It's been about a month or so since I watched the movie, but I pretty distincly remember it describing the ability to affect the outside physical world purely with your thoughts. That is grade-A bs. I guess they just needed to give their product that special edge to distinguish it from all the other "think positive!" self-help material out there. "Think positive...and move cars with your mind!"

Brian Tracy & Napoleon Hill talk about exactly the same principles.

Mix a positive emotion with a thought of what you want. Keep your attention on it and act on it.

The hardest part for me is to break free from the habit patterns of thinkinh that I've created in the past. It'll take some time to change those but it'll be worth the payoff
