Testosterone is an Androgen sex hormone responsible for the development of male attributes and various other functions. Testosterone promotes such male attributes as increased muscle tone, increased muscle size, facial hair, and the development of male sex organs. Testosterone plays a role in females as well as males. In both sexes it serves to increase libido, energy, immune function, and even protects against bone loss. What does this mean for us? Well it would seem more testosterone = more of these benefits right?
