I may be posting soon looking for some game savvy companions in Baltimore.

I'm considering a move. I've lived all over the country but never Baltimore. What is the singles scene like for young professionals in their late twenties and early thirties? How organized are the community lairs (PM me if you prefer)? How would you compare the vibe and character of the city to others you have visited?

Input appreciated.

I've lived in both Philly, NYC, and Baltimore.. I can definitely vouch for Baltimore for being a cool city as far as nightlife is concerned. Get to know the right people and places (PM me) and you'll have a great time.

Best of all, DC is 45 min away. The club scene in DC is crazy in itself. I've got a few friends who own huge clubs down there and it's always a great time. We took a limo bus down the Thurs. night from Bmore to DC and club hopped; tables comped every place we went to.

Just make sure you're not moving into one of the bad areas in the city.. ehhhhhhh.

A universe...where heartbreak and sadness have bee
Hell, I'll bump this.

I'm starting to get back into the bar/club scene. Been off it for a while for personal reasons but gotta start getting back out.

What are the hotspots around B-more these days? Have they changed much? The ones I know are Canton, Fells, Fed Hill, and PowerPlant.

Favorite bars/clubs in those areas for meeting interesting/attractive women?

Actually, what I'd love to hear about are places and areas that are just coming up...places where the girls hang out but that the guys haven't gotten wind of yet. :D I've never managed to get on the "edge" of nightlife...I seem to always hear about places when they're on their downswing.

WC, you seem to know some spots. Clue me in. ;)

I swear, I was talking to this club promoter at Mosaic one night (back when it was the tent-bar on the patio, before it became a full-on club) and should've kept her number, but I wasn't attracted to her. A little social leverage would've helped me out.

Fells Point is still good for meeting young girls. Tip: When you go during Halloween every college kid from every uni in Baltimore is at Fell's. Means lots of 19-23 year olds girls.

Powerplant is OK.

If you are into older chicks you can head into Annapolis.

If you're into black chicks there are LOTS of active areas around Inner Harbor.

Just stumbled upon this post randomly again..

Baltimore

Fed Hill - As stated before, good place to find either college women, or 'young professionals' (22 - 28 give or take). Mad River, The Horse are all good spots. If you've got a crew with you and you want to check out a real cool intimate club scene, check out Sky Lounge.

Canton - Canton Sq. is a the place for young professionals. Not a lot of college kids.. more of an older crowd. My favorites - Calaghdahs, Looneys.

Powerplant - All depends what day. Thursday is college night @ Mosaic during the school year. Saturdays is an older crowd @ Mosaic. Luckies Tuesdays is always good @ Luckies. If you're thinking about getting bottle service here, definitely shoot me a message. My roomate runs both nights @ Mosaic.

Misc. Baltimore - Pazo, Blue Hill, Eden's Lounge, Red Maple (Fridays are hot.. also let me know for bottle service here) are all cool lounges to have a few drinks and meet employed, more sophisticated women.

D.C. - Ultrabar, Chroma, K-Street Lounge, District (Adamn's Morgan), Tatu, FUR (for special events).

ALL good clubs. If you're going to FUR, let me know also, one of my best friends is the owner.
