The Question of Supplements

I am curious, I see so many mixed responses to this question: to supplement or not to supplement?
I have been on vitamen supplements for 4-5 weeks, and have noticed that, coupled with a health eating regimen and excercise, there are no adverse effects. However, I hear from many people that vitamens are useless/bad for you. Any thoughts?

Anyone who tells you that multivitamins are bad for you are idiots. They are useless if your regular diet already contains 100% of what's needed of every vitamin. But very few people can claim this.

If you're really concerned you should ask your doctor.

Most vitamins found in multivitamins are water soluable, and you can't get too much of. The more you take does require more strain on your kidneys though, so drink plenty of water. But no, no adverse affects. I take 1, sometimes 2 vitamins a day
