In MJ's new book (Driven from within) he said in every game he never worried about taking a shot because he knew that after all the work he put in during practice during the week, during the game he knew after he shot the ball it was going to go in or it was not going to go in, therefore as long as he put in his work during the week it made no sense to worry about it in da game.

Dating is the same way, the ball will go in or it will miss (there is no other options).
She will like you or she wont like you.
She will say yes or she will say no.

And the only way to find out iz to shot the ball.

Da kingz in da building!

True. Like the age old idiom: Nothing ventured, nothing gained. The more approaches the better you % will have. I know this is easier said than done and I still have problems making an initial approach but if you belive in the law of averages and have faith in your game you will succeed.

<irony>Wow great philosophy...</irony>
That's not MJ's secret. His secret is simpy hard work. He commited himself completely to playing basketball and never gave up. He never complained he's too tired, or doesn't have motivation. He got on the path and never got off of it (well he got off only to play golf but that's another story).
