The way I see it is that the dating world is just a giant meat market. The best is obviously the prime rib. Then its steak, hamburger, hot dogs, and then spam. Would a prime rib want to be beside a can of spam?
Think about it.
Prime rib is someone who is very attractive for their gender. They are busy people with illuminating lives that are the envy of many. These are the people that many want. However if you are a can of spam in comparison, how do you think you will be able to get her? These are obviously the HB 9s and 10s.
Steaks are probably HB 7-8. They're very good. A little less expensive = a little less than ideal than the prime ribs but still has some lofty standards.
Hamburgers are HB 5-6s. They are the standard crop. Nothing is really special about them. A lot of people just settle in this area when they can probably improve themselves to be better meat or at least the best Hamburger they can be.
Hot Dogs are HB 3-4s. Tasty/Attractive? No. The almost gellatinous tube of Lord knows what is a mystery; a mystery that most can do without. People still like them but of course most will pick the above mentioned meat/people.
Spam is the lowest of the low. Poor spam. Nestling against even crappier spam knock-offs, these are the ugliest or the cheapest of the bunch. These are the HB 0-2s. There aren't too many people that want them. Many would try to scrounge their pennies to get the hot dogs instead.
The same applies with the men. I believe that the better the meat that you are, the better you will do out there. Every once in a while you see "well, this guy is ugly and with a hot chick." Meat is not just about the looks but the taste/inside. Prime rib looks very nice. The taste though is phenomenal. However sometimes being a better meat on the outside doesn't make you better in the inside but most of the time it does. Ever had a really crappy tasting Prime Rib? I have, twice. In these moments I would prefer a quality steak.
The same goes to women. If a HB10 is a complete b1tch and the HB8 has a stunning personality that I would enjoy being around, I will pick the HB8.
