Saw it the other thinking it might be good, but I absolutely loved it.

It didn't have the funniest scenes in the history of comedy, but it was entertaining from start to finish. I was laughing the whole movie.

Bonus- Excellent portrayals of a Super Alpha dude and a Super Pu$$y Whipped Beta dude. The Alpha is a school teacher who steals money from his students field trip fund for a bachelor party in Vegas, the Beta wants to marry a chick who beat him twice and cheated on him with a bartender on a cruise ship.

Great flick. Check it out.

I used to love Bachelor Party movies. Then a few years ago I saw one with Kal Penn and a few other no name actors which also took place in Vegas. God what an awful movie, I can't remember the name though.

Fast forward a few years and this movie comes out. From the previews, it looks like Dude Where's My Car? - Because both movies are about trying to figure out what happened the night BEFORE. If the night BEFORE is so awesome, why don't they just show THAT night to begin with? LOL

Anyway, a lot of people have said really good things about this movie so I think it must be worth checking out.

I've heard testimonials from not only my regular friends, but from critics, that it's literally one of the funniest movies they've ever seen. Sounds good, I'll definitely try to catch it. A movie worthy of it having the label "the funniest movie of the summer," that is often branded on every other slapstick comedy released during the summer.

I watched Year One with my friends and I was literally cracking up from start to end. One of the funniest moves I have ever watched. Not sure how it stacks up to The Hangover, but one of my friends who saw both has liked Year One better.

Wasn't that funny imo
It was hyped so much that I was sitting there thinking; "Is this really it?"

I'll definitely get the DVD and have even more chuckles over it though

The Alpha, Beta and Omega :p

I saw this movie last night, and it was amazing! I really loved how they didn't screw up the alpha male towards the end, and kept the characters in thier role. Afher I saw this movie I knew. We should hit it off in Vegas sometime!

it was a VERY good movie. However, I think the best recent movie I saw is Transformers 2 :]

The Hangover was hilarious. It didn't have the funniest lines, but what it did have was pretty funny lines throughout the whole movie, so literally a minute didn't go by where someone wasn't laughing. Zach Galifianakis had me cracking up!

I really liked this movie. Everybody knows what a typical bachelor party is like in Las Vegas. Wild women, drinking, gambling, drugs, strippers etc etc. It's genius that this movie is almost completely based on the before and heavily on the after of such an event and is hilarious because of that. I can't tell you how many times I've met my clients at the pool after setting them up for a crazy night and similar things have happened to them. It's priceless and never ceases to amuse me. It's like seeing guys who just left a demoltion derby!

On a side note, I'm not sure if they even meant to do this, but this is one of the few movies that had the scenes done sequentially in las vegas. When they left ceasars, they were driving in front of O'sheas, Casino Royale, and Harrahs then ended up at the chapel that is in that driving direction just past the stratosphere along LVB. Most movies would cut and chop and put them at a more scenic/convinent place but they literally shot everything as it would happen were it in real time. I found that to be completely awesome.

I definitely plan on checking out this movie, especially since I'm familiar with the film credits of the director, but, just for fun, I want to toss you one question: since we're both on the same page about how the greatest comedies are pulled from the deepest insights of TRUTH, how much truth is there in the film?

Hmmm....

The plotline was WAY over the top. Totally unrealistic.

I think you are asking more about the way the people were protrayed thought??

Pretty good portrayal of the pu$$y whipped beta and the c0cksure alpha.

Hell, I liked the movie so much I'd go see it again. Hit me up if you decide to go. Unless you have "company", of course.

Very good movie. I dont know about the greatest of the summer, though. Consistantly funny, and twists at every turn. Not very 'truth' like though, its pretty outrageous. In reality, they would have been killed or in jail before midnight. Its like a funny 'Dude Wheres my Car' meets 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas,' with sprinkles of 'Fandango.'

Unrealistic plot line but very realistic portrayal of the types of characters and how they'd react in certain situations.

Thats the wrong Fandango.

Heres the trailer:http://www.fancast.com/movies/Fandango/34768/687457276/Fandango/videos

Fandango is a REALLY great movie. Its really funny, but is also really deep at the same time. I recommend everyone watch it.

Heres a review:http://efilmcritic.com/review.php?movie=6872

And a ten minute scene, some consider one of the funniest in movie history:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fa3r60VQhvk&feature=related

I liked this film and laughed my arse off quite a bit.

fuzzx, if you want something deeper than what you saw in The Hangover, you're free to go watch some ponsey artsy fartsy movies while me and the lads will laugh at what we find funny. Personally I think them going on a massive bender and completely ****ing everything up was pretty fvcking funny, but again, if you want something that isn't "crude" and doesn't have swearing in it, get some other movie whilst eating humous and sipping fine wine. I'll watch the hangover again with a fvcking beer

The movie did a great job at keeping my interest throughout, I was always interested in what was going to happen next.

But, I didn't really find much of it very funny. I blame this on my style of humor, I like more the dry type more subtle humor.

Although I thought the gay asian dude was f*cking hysterical. He definitely was the best part of the movie.

x2. Hangover is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. I literally don't know anybody who doesn't agree with me.

It's not illegal, just frowned upon. Like masturbating on an airplane.
