Got in my first fight this year, not proud, but not disappointed either. It was a rather awkward way it came about, and I felt like the guy from "Of mice and men"... "Don't hurt my friend!"
Well I've decided to move up a bit in my fighting life. There are a lot of ways I saw that I was "wrong" in the fight, it wasn't even a fight. It was defending myself, while defending my friend, while keeping the guy I was holding safe from any ****ers who felt like taking a cheap shot.
What do I start on? What should I do to get better at fighting?
The way I saw the fight was that "there was something happening" beside me. My friend was being punched by another guy who came out of the blue screaming about his girlfriend. I stood up and went "heyyyy" and asked what was happening. I heard my friend muffle and I just wrapped my arms around the other guys and seperated them. I don't see it as anything, but I know its not a desired way to fight... Don't know why I feel that way, but I do.
What books should I look into, I don't want to be a lame fighter all my life.
