I always see people recommending that guys send tailored messages based on what they see on her profile, but I have gotten way more responses from just sending a simple "hey".

It also doesn't help that 90% of women have blank bios with boring selfies.

We are on OLD apps like Tinder to meetup not to have a virtual conversation with a stranger, I think just sending a simple message is better than putting a huge amount of effort into it

It doesn't matter what your opener is, if she is interested she will reply.

If you try switching your gender on Tinder to female, you'll see that you get about 100 messages a day, most of which say "hey".

Women realised a while ago they don't need to make effort on swipe apps such as tinder they will get matches and "hey's" regardless ....

i read an interesting stat on tinder which said something like 70% of all matches on the app lead to absolutely nothing

You also need to take into account that there's a lot of unattractive / overweight people using it which i guess would more or less make up the remaining 30%

My suspicion is some women view tinder as a last resort for male attention and something to do when they are bored others think they will find someone to re-enact a romantic comedy with , men view it as a way to get easy and quick sex ......two strange social dynamics that i don't think actually work well

I met a chick a few weeks ago i recognised she wanted sex it took me 2 hours in the real world to get her riding me.... on tinder it would have been a 2-3 week game of tic tac toe with zero guarantee of anything coming from it

after i had fvcked her she even said this probably wouldn't have happened if we met on tinder

IMO i think your right it doesn't really matter what you say because the odds are firmly stacked against you

Personally I wouldn't start a conversation with "hey" , but nor would i spend hours tailoring a message she probably wont even read.

i think a fair middle ground would be something like " let's have some fun" … it's playful yet direct enough to let her know you aren't here to recite Shakespeare

I've made a fake female account, you would be surprised at some of the messages i got. One guy said he had "custom underwear" in his opening message and another send some guessing game.

Those long custom tailored messages are pointless unless your interested in only having a conversation online. Most women have really short attention spans so a "hey" works best.

Often they comment on my photos, the first being me with a Dog which Chicks LOVE and the others are of me out in interesting locations.
