"Have you ever found yourself caught in the charm of a man who, at first, seemed nothing short of perfect? He said all the right things, paid attention, and made you feel special. But as time passed, he started to reveal a different side - one that was manipulative, selfish, and emotionally harmful. This persona, the devilish man, is as charming as he is challenging, leaving you feeling baffled and betrayed."

Sounds like Narcissistic Personality Disorder in new clothes...

Think what the opposite would cause.

1) Be honest and transparent -> kill the mystery -> she gets bored -> starts looking for a new guy
2) Only think of her needs -> be considered the "nice guy" or end up in the friend zone -> she gets bored -> starts looking for a new guy
3) Be emotional -> take on feminine traits in her eyes -> sees you as less masculine -> destroys feelings of security and trust -> starts looking for a new guy

Never trust a women to know what they're truly attracted to and by (except someone like BeExcellent who is a serious outlier).

"Decoding the 'Devilish Man': 10 Tell-Tale Signs"

There is nothing to "decode" ..... the "devilish man" just found out how the majority of women operates and turned the table around.

Most of these 10 tell-tale-signs are typical female behaviour and its "totaly fine" when THEY do it.

This article just shows how incapable of self reflection women are and that they twist reality at any point however it suits them.

In western society, being anything else then the "devilish man" is a trainwreck waiting to happen.

Yeah another woman writing $hit that makes no sense.

1. Manipulative: everything is manipulation, from your boss paying you for you to work, to you fvcking her good so she comes back. Manipulation is bad when ine of the sides is suffering.

2. Selfish: since when taking care of ones needs first is a bad thing? If you don't do who the fvck is?

3. Emotionally harmful: wtf is that even mean? That I didn't call her for week cause I was running game that way she starts thinking about me?

That's why I don't trust what women write, they don't even know what they want or respond to.
If manipulation is everything, seems like a great skill to be developing and learning more about, granted the article didn't do it much justice but there are many books on the subject worth reading.

We used to talk about books like Beyond Good And Evil here at one time, topics like this that are so complex they become difficult to understand, master Morality and slave Morality, instead we've traded empowerment for sensationalism.

Its time to move this forum closer to the minds of empowerment and fortune, as opposed to cynicism and sensationalism.

Obviously they're clickbait for women and I chuckle when I see them. However, they're also milestones of where the Overton Window currently resides for women. Bringing such issues into the media will never change why such traits and tactics work on women.

1. Manipulative -> Being assertive
2. Selfish -> Setting boundaries
3. Emotional -> Being non-reactive

It's all in how you frame it as these traits are on a spectrum. They want to spin it as negative as it pushes the balance of power towards the man.

They label a man as The Devil but a woman as empowered and independent. Same behavior. Different rule set to judge against.

Lol. What’s the Star Wars quote after Obi Wan Kenobi waves his hand and says “These are not the droids you’re looking for….”?

“Nothing to see here. Move along….”

Agree a dressed up version of dark triad and a poor girl who thought she was a special snowflake.

I like dark triad traits. They tend to be sexy if nuanced & less overt. It’s great fun to play with (and most rewarding when they succumb to their own devices which they weren’t expecting a chick to understand.)

Oh it is great fun indeed to be underestimated. Like any archetype the behaviors are the same pattern. If you know the pattern it’s like having a master key. Unlocks the heart when nobody’s looking ;).

This is kinda exactly why this thread is a lose /lose type of question:

It’s more fun when you can make the chick think she’s playing you and you’re still a lower level Trojan that’s hardwired, and she’s living in virtual reality, but thinking otherwise.

That was my father. And I credit him with the vast majority of why I think like I do about things. My husband is of similar ilk. He needs some work on the benevolent part here & there, but he certainly dictates.

It’s funny I remember extolling my dad about this. As a teen I said to him “We live in a democracy!”

His response with a little grin:

“Yes daughter. But in this house it is a dictatorship and *I* am the dictator. I’m benevolent but I’m still the dictator….”

May he RIP. He would have been 90 yesterday.
