The Comedy Convo Starter!

Am new here and am wondering what people thought of my comedy convo starter.

I was told by a good friend (female) that it was a good line cause it got her laughing.

Here it is

"You wouldn't know it from looking at me, but i can run really really fast"

So input into whether i should go out tonight and try this line?

to me it sounds like you are trying to tell her to chase you..and the chase would be thrilling..because she would never be able to compete or "catch you"

but I dont see the comedy?

ok, maybe i didnt explain it well enough.

i am gonna just go up radom girls tonight and start my convo by saying that line.

what ya think? good way to get some attention?

I think..whatever you are trying to convey with that line is vague..I dont even know what to say to something like that..but if I was a chick..id probably say

"ummm OK!..why dont you start running..and Ill see how fast you can go"

I get it, but I dont think most girls, like the guys on this board will. The girl would already have to be in a good, happy mood for that to work though, or else you'll just look weird.

You guys are just overthinking it, like he's trying to have some secret meaning in his words.

He's trying to go up to a girl, and say something so random and unexpected the she's like wtf? and then bursts out laughing.

It's not really that good of a line though, and I'm sure he could come up with something better then that.

The best line ever is this...but you have to be with a female friend do have it work. Have your friend hang back looking kinda shy, and walk up to the HB. Say to her "Hey, see my friend over there? Well, she's never really done anything like this before, so she's really nervous, and didn't want to come over and ask you herself." By this time, the HB's usually getting a little bit tense, because she has a pretty good idea of what you're getting at. so you say to her "I keep telling her it's nothing to be nervous about, but she wants to know if you think I'm hot "
