Just some observations here related to women who remain virgins versus high levels of promiscuity and the dating market...
What prompted me to write this was thinking about the situation of a woman who works at a pub in my neighborhood. She has Marylin Monroe looks, is pretty nice and sweet, social, but religious and is saving herself for marriage.
I've never seen her with a boyfriend.
And, she'll be hitting the wall in the next few years.
I'm sure the scenario is something like this: Guy asks her out, they date for a period, she says she's a virgin and wants to wait, guy thinks he can wear her down, tries/fails, either she or he initiates the break-up. Rinse, repeat.
I doubt few guys on here who complain about sluts and hos and all that expect to meet and marry a virgin. Usually, guys who would like a wife or at least a long-term commitment with a woman prefer a woman who has doled out her sexuality in a more discriminating manner. Further, few of us want a woman who has ZERO experience in the sack. That said, there is a general disdain for committing to a woman who spent her best years on the carousel.
So here we have a woman that in fact is trying to maintain a concocted religious standard and finds herself dateless, manless, and heading toward cat herding. No one wants her because who wants to wait in this day and age?
Meet a 22 year old virgin and one might conclude she has standards and the right guy will/can crack the code. But the longer she waits, say until her late 20s or early 30s, virginity because a red flag, not something guys find attractive.
She's is probably clueless about the "marriage strike", even if there are still plenty of guys wanting to couple up.
Her looks get her plenty of male attention and I'm sure the alpha dogs make her tingle, just none of them are gonna wait around in celibacy and then drop to a knee, propose, just to get at her lady bits.
So, she did (what she thinks) the "right thing" and now has standards that price her right out of the market.
What's the balance? If you met a woman in her late 20s and early 30s that was a virgin or had only 1 partner from one LTR, would that be a red flag for you? To me, that sounds like someone too hung up on dysfunctional values about sex. One big headache, I think.
Conversely, guys here will pump and dump someone with dozens of sexual partners because they feel her ability to maintain loyalty has been compromised.
So, that chaste woman with values you hope to meet may not be exactly what you think or hope she is. She's probably the mirror image of the carousel rider with a host of attendant issues and problems. She'll make you wait, work for it, puts her own vagina on a pedestal, controls the interactions, and so on. The only guys who will put up with that are beta chumps. But she "deserves the best", the alpha guys with little patience for her coquetry.
She priced herself right out of her target market, all for the sake of an invented moral tale (religion). The slut has done exactly the same, also for the sake of an invented moral tale (feminism).
