i myself tried it i was a 195 and went to a 186. i noticed i could do more pushups , its strange bcos i usually lift heavier than my body size.

That's because people are stupid. Don't you know that already?

Size has noting to do with intelect. Brain cappacity and how you use it determines how smart you are.

Congratulations. You're one of the stupid like I said before. You're a sheep.

And I say this because you're into the dogma of bigger=dumber.

I hear regular exercise DOES increase brain function

might not be actual muscle mass though, but circulation and such.

What does muscle mass have to do with it?

Exercise is exercise. There are different kinds like aerobic and anaerobic, but all variations get your heart pumping and blood flowing.

I didnt say muscle mass had to do anything with it. I said the act of exercising helped.

I did the best to understand your retarded post. If that's not what you said, please write clearer and don't skip words.

Otherwise (your) post (makes no) sense. (See) what (I) mean?

my apologies. let me clarify my first post.

"I hear regular exercise DOES increase brain function"

In my research, I have read that EXERCISE (not specifying what kind) does increase brain function.

"might not be actual muscle mass though, but circulation and such."

in the first part, I am disagreeing with the arguement that actual levels of muscle mass increase brain function. The second part qualifies my disagreeing by saying that other aspects of exercise (IE, those aspects that increase the efficiency of blood circulation and such) are what benefits brain function, as opposed to levels of muscle mass.

there ya go. that explain it better, sport?

I have a guess how this myth came up: Buffed up people are indeed, usually, less intellectuel. If dealing with your body takes a good part of your spare time, you simply don't have as much time to analyse stuff or read books. Why others may visit an exhibition, you head to the gym. When others talk about western philosophy, you discuss the best exercise for hamstring development. Plus, the increased testosterone makes some things feel irrelevant that may have been important before. So it looks you got dumber by exercising, when instead your priorities have shifted.

Smartest answer for the stupidest thread.

I know it should be "most stupid", but I am bulking;)
